CV writing webinar housekeeping

It’s just over 24 hours until our first webinar goes live.

“Make your CV shine – draw attention to yourself” goes out tomorrow at 7:30 pm (UK time).

There is still time to book a space.

The form is at the very bottom of this post.

Below are some shots of what you can expect.

Firstly, we will email you just before the meeting start time with the meeting location. The email will contain a link. Click it.

(Please note – you must use Internet Explorer or Mozilla firefox.  Apple safari and google chrome are not totally reliable for this. – Ask me how I know!)

You will be firstly prompted for your name, enter it.

Next, you will be held in the “waiting area” – Please wait until we call you in.

When you are in the room – the main presentation will be in the centre of your screen.

On the right hand side, you will have a panel to tell us what you are thinking. (You will not be able to speak but you can raise your hand as shown in the picture).

However, on the right hand side – there is a public chat window where everyone can see what you type. So a conversation might start flowing there.

One final thing. Depending on the speed of your internet connection and your computer – your system may find the webinar demanding. In tests we never had any dropped connections but never say never…

We would advise that you don’t do anything else while you are watching the webinar.

No you tube – no MSN with friends, no word documents – Nothing.
