Filed under Technical | Comment (0)The death of powerpoint
There has been a lot in the blog-o-sphere about the death of powerpoint.
Obviously powerpoint is just a tool to use to make or illustrate points, but in the new world of web 2.0 has powerpoint been left behind ?
PowerPoint 1.0 was released in 1987 for the Mac. It ran in black and white, generating text-and-graphics pages for overhead transparencies. A new full color version of PowerPoint shipped a year later after the first color Macintosh came to market.
That’s all a far cry from where we are today with video and databases on every corner
Has powerpoint had its day or does it still have a roll to play ?
We are planning to develop some elearning in powerpoint as a free download so you can judge for yourself.
In the meantime - enjoy the chicken..

We are delighted to announce that we have completed testing courses with valid css.
If you are not technical, this will mean nothing to you, other than your course is likely to load onto your screen faster.
We will be cascading this through all courses in the next few weeks - please bear with us if there are a few problems and log calls through your normal support channels.
