The death of powerpoint
There has been a lot in the blog-o-sphere about the death of powerpoint.
Obviously powerpoint is just a tool to use to make or illustrate points, but in the new world of web 2.0 has powerpoint been left behind ?
PowerPoint 1.0 was released in 1987 for the Mac. It ran in black and white, generating text-and-graphics pages for overhead transparencies. A new full color version of PowerPoint shipped a year later after the first color Macintosh came to market.
That’s all a far cry from where we are today with video and databases on every corner
Has powerpoint had its day or does it still have a roll to play ?
We are planning to develop some elearning in powerpoint as a free download so you can judge for yourself.
In the meantime - enjoy the chicken..
