Sharp End Training Director Jonathan Senor consulted by established Human resources website www.hrzone.co.uk over the budget. The question was “As training and people management professionals, is the budget good or bad for for you ?” “As HR and training professionals, we are ultimately aiming to make people better, feel better and get the most from themselves, that s why I welcome the extra investment in talented athletes of all sports and sport in general announced in the budget. “We have seen time and time again how doing well in sports gives the whole country a collective boost and for too long we have watched other countries, notably Australia, invest in talented people AND mass participation on an almost industrial basis.
